Days and opening hours of the visa section

To submit a visa application, please make an appointment only online,

- from monday till friday :

  • from 8:45 am to 12:00 pm

- thursday :

  • from 8:45 am to 12:00 pm
  • from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm

1 passport = 1 appointment

To pick-up your visa if you has been contacted by the visa section, please come with your passport between 10:00 and 12:00 without an appointment. In summer period (july-august-september) collection of the visas from 11:00 am till 12:00 ONLY. It is unnecessary to come earlier.

Attention ! The visa section will be also closed on may 26th, june 13th, june 23rd and september 4th & 5th.

Contact

The holders of a valid german residency card and of a valid passport issued within the past 10 years don’t need any visa to stay less than 90 days in France, in the D.R.O.M. or in the C.T.O.M., even if you travel by plane, by train or by car. Please don’t call the visa section to get confirmation of this information.

You can also reach the visa section by phone (069 79 50 96 22) each monday, wednesday and friday between 2:15 pm and 4:30 pm.

Access to the visa section

The Consulate General of France is reachable with :

  • underground lines JPEG, JPEG and JPEG (station Bockenheimer Warte)
  • the tram line JPEG 16 (Bockenheimer Warte stop)
  • bus lines JPEG 32, 36, 50, 75 (Bockenheimer Warte stop)

Parking lot near the consulate is free but limited.
